Fleet is the organization chart for the AI workforce. It shows Company AI, the protected Executive coordination layer, Team Agents, persistent workforce agents, reporting relationships, runtime status, and recent delegation activity. Fleet organization chart

Do this

Choose Show me in the mission banner. On the organization canvas, the walkthrough first opens a staffed team. It then waits for you to select a real agent node and moves with you into that agent’s inspector.
  1. Open Fleet.
  2. Find a Team Agent and expand its team group.
  3. Inspect at least one workforce agent beneath it.
  4. Confirm the specialist has a clear name, title, and purpose.
  5. Check Reports to and Direct reports in the configuration panel.
  6. Confirm the specialist is active before asking the Team Agent to delegate to it.

Write a useful purpose

The purpose is discovery metadata used by people and other agents. Describe when the specialist should receive work, not only its department. Weak:

Understand the reporting edge

Delegation follows direct parent-child relationships in Fleet. A Team Agent can hand work to its direct reports; a specialist can delegate further only when it has eligible direct reports and delegation is enabled. Moving an agent changes the operational hierarchy, not just the diagram. Review the destination team, access boundary, connectors, and teamspace before changing a reporting line.

You are done when

The checklist marks Explore Fleet as done after the workspace has a persistent specialist beyond protected system agents. Continue with Delegate and review work.
