# 7. Use Emberbase

> Store reusable knowledge in the correct personal, team, or company scope.

Emberbase is durable, inspectable context for the workforce. It is not a hidden transcript dump. Humans and agents work with visible pages that can be searched, corrected, and cited.

## Choose the right scope

| Scope | Use it for | Who can use it |
| ------------------ | ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- | -------------------------------------------------- |
| Personal Emberbase | Your preferences, private working context, and personal projects. | You and your Personal Agent. |
| Teamspace | Team procedures, active context, and knowledge that belongs to one team. | Authorized team members and that team's workforce. |
| Company Emberbase | Company facts, decisions, shared procedures, and reusable organization context. | Authorized company agents and people. |

A teamspace is a section inside Company Emberbase, not a separate memory store. Personal Emberbase remains isolated from both.

## Do this

Choose **Show me** in the mission banner. The walkthrough opens the real page creator, validates the path you enter, and points to the control that creates the draft.

1. Open **Emberbase**.
2. Search before creating a new page.
3. Add or improve one page with a clear title and at least one useful fact, decision, or procedure.
4. Ask SuperEmber a question that should use the page.
5. Check that the response reflects the stored information and identify the source page when provenance matters.

## Write durable knowledge

Good Emberbase content is stable enough to reuse:

* a decision and why it was made
* a customer or product fact with a clear owner
* a team operating procedure
* a repeated reporting definition
* a current policy or constraint

Do not store passwords, API keys, tokens, private keys, raw environment files, or unnecessary personal data.

## You are done when

The checklist marks **Use Emberbase** as done after you add a meaningful company page.

You now have the foundation for daily work. Reopen [Onboarding overview](/onboarding/overview) or **Help & onboarding** whenever you want to replay a mission.
